B O D Qualifications

1: BOARD MEMBERSHIP: must have experience in leadership, and be @ least 21 years old or older.

-must be in good standing in the community

-must be willing to serve @ least 1 year of active duty

-must understand missing 3 or more consecutive meeting will automatically be cause for removal from B.O.D. (mandatory vote must be initiated by present members)

-must understand that while you have the authority to pass policies, Y.C.C has veto powers, and any override of any veto will take @ least 2/3 of BOD body present at vote to override that veto

-will be assigned the Rank of AV 1-4. “Honorary”(Advisor) depending on leadership experience

-must be willing to wear ylc uniform (that you purchase from ylc) @ all field engagements if you should decide to participate in any

-must understand that resigning from the BOD will not lead to any refund of your yearly fee, all appointments are for a yearly period unless you resign or you get voted out of your position

-must understand that this position is non-paying position, and you must pay a "fee" of $100.00 a year and you are responsible for raising at least $2000,00 (ea member) a year in fundraising efforts.

must be willing to sit on special committees, if asked

2:BOARD OF DIRECTORS will consist 9 – 12 ea. Persons paying a yearly fee of one hundred dollars each year ($100.00).failure to pay fee will be cause for dismissal immediately, 

-It will be the sole responsibility of this body to monitor, recommend promotion and punishment for command grade officers, guide, and recommend, strategies for future growth and revenue generation for this organization; it will take 2/3 majority vote to implement any policy or change of policy by the Y.C.C (youth corps commander)
